Siar Interactive is a games studio based in the Outer Hebrides. The islands are not something we draw inspiration from at a distance, they are part of who we are. They shape how we see the world, how we tell stories, and how we build. The landscape, the weather, the silence, and the rhythms of island life are part of everyday experience here. So is the language and the history carried through generations. These things naturally find their way into our work, not as decoration, but as the foundation. We make games that grow out of this place. Stories that feel grounded because they come from somewhere real. Siar Interactive exists to bring those stories into a new medium, and to keep them moving forward.
Siar Interactive is a game studio based in North Uist in the Scottish Outer Hebrides, creating atmospheric, story-driven games rooted in Scottish Gaelic language, culture, and mythology. We work with local artists, musicians, and storytellers to bring the folklore, history, and creative spirit of the islands into interactive experiences for global audiences. Our mission is to make games that are both entertaining and culturally meaningful, opening a window into the Gaelic world while supporting language learning and providing new creative opportunities in the islands.
